Warranty
What we cover.
Limited warranty on the aluminum frame and the powder-coat finish. Glass and cable carry their own manufacturer terms. Installation and abuse are excluded.
Frame coverage
Ten-year limited warranty on the aluminum extrusion against manufacturing defect in material and workmanship from the date of shipment [CODE-REF: TBD — confirm with manufacturer terms]. The warranty applies to the original purchasing trade account and is not transferable on resale.
Finish coverage
Five-year limited warranty on the powder-coat finish against blistering, peeling, and substrate adhesion failure under normal atmospheric exposure. Coverage is reduced or void in marine environments within 1 km of salt coast, in installations subject to direct chemical contact, and where cleaning has been performed with abrasive compounds, solvents, or acidic cleaners.
Normal weathering — gradual color shift, gloss reduction over time — is not a finish defect and is not covered.
Glass
Glass panes (Clear, Pinhead, Frosted — 5mm tempered) are third-party manufactured and covered under the original glass-supplier warranty, which passes through with the order. Glass claims route to the glass supplier; Norcut coordinates the claim on the trade account's behalf.
Cable
316 stainless steel cable carries the corrosion-resistance properties of the 316 specification — there is no separate Norcut warranty on the cable itself. Tensioners and cable hardware follow the same coverage as the aluminum frame above, subject to proper installation torque and periodic re-tensioning per the installation guide.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover: improper installation; failure to follow the published installation guide; modification of any component (drilling, welding, cutting beyond intended cut points); impact damage, abrasion, or other mechanical abuse; damage from fire, flood, seismic events, or other acts of nature; aesthetic variation within the published finish tolerance; consequential or incidental damages of any kind.
How to claim
Contact sales with the original order number, the installation date, photos of the affected components, and a description of the condition. Norcut reviews each claim individually. Approved claims are resolved by replacement of the affected part, repair, or a credit toward replacement at Norcut's discretion. Return of the defective part may be required.
This is a summary of warranty terms. Full warranty language ships with each order acknowledgment and supersedes this page in the event of a conflict. All terms subject to legal review before publication.
